Options/NY comes from a collaborative effort between AltruIT and a partnership of New York Voluntary Agencies.
Eight agencies, frustrated by the need to work with dozens of overlapping data systems, formed a partnership and engaged AltruIT to produce a single software system that would meet their combined needs, as well as interact with New York's many government systems. The partnership gathered information from nine distinct perspectives: Fiscal, Medical, Mental Health, Quality Improvement, Youth Development, Adoption, Home Finding, Case Planning, and MIS. Agency experts were involved throughout the development process. The result is Options/NY.
