Options/NY includes all of the standard modules of Options, as well as these specialized modules designed specifically for the New York Foster Care system.
- Adoption: This module lists all people involved with an adoption case as well as event summaries. Agencies can decide on their own as to what those events are.
- Case Planning: Allows managers to keep detailed data on children, foster homes, clinics and services, and the interactions between them.
- Financial: Includes Integrated Foster Parent Payroll, Rates Management, SSPS/BICS claiming, reconciles costly discrepancies, and more.
- Home Finding: Tracks entire home recruitment process.
- Incidents: This module manages critical incidents related to the safety and well-being of a child receiving services.
- Medical: Medical staff can add and track a child's medical records. ICD9 codes are built into the application, and automatic reminders can be set to trigger appointments. The program exports seamlessly to Medicaid claiming software.
- Mental Health: Tracks mental health records; ICD9 and DSM-IV codes are built into the application, and automatic reminders can be set to trigger appointments.
- Youth Development: Options schedules workshops and events, and keeps track of attendance at workshops, as well as "make up" visits & provision of materials.
